GEORGETOWN, Texas (KXAN) — A candlelight vigil was held Tuesday night time at San Gabriel Park for the 75 animals missing in a weekend hearth at a Georgetown pet boarding facility.
The accidental fireplace transpired Saturday night time at Ponderosa Pet Vacation resort. The Georgetown Hearth Division says the animals possible died from smoke inhalation.
Groomers in the Georgetown neighborhood rallied all over individuals afflicted by the tragedy at the vigil. A single groomer claims a pet she employed to groom died in the fireplace.
“I have just a person, but it hit actually difficult, due to the fact it was a pretty standard shopper that I noticed really often…. and I just really really feel for all the people. I’m like heartbroken,” Laura Thames with Woman in Pink Grooming explained.
